CPU cooling, etc.

I have bought a motherboard on which someone already installed a Northbridge fan that stands up and is pointed towards the CPU, etc. However, if I purchase a Zalman 7700 to cool the CPU do I still need a Northbridge fan? I'm not familiar with the different kinds of fans, so I need a little help here. Thanks.

You'll need a heatsink at least, but if there's enough room and airflow nearby, then you can go passive with a Zalman ZM-NB47J (or the lower profile NB32J).

Although this depends a lot on your mobo too. nForce4 chipsets run considerably hotter than NF3's, so you may want to keep the fan on there.
