Hello
Im making my first build and due to my lacking the funds i need to get a Q6600 at the current time, i figured id throw in something nice that can OC a bit, in order to hold me over. As it stands im running a PentD 2.8 stock and all, and i figured if i can get my new E2140 up a bit, itll be a nice improvement. Im ordering from newegg, and ive been looking through CPU coolers. The problem is i cant spend over 30$ on the cooler at this point, and the TUNIQ Tower which i wanted, is about 45$.

In short, i need some suggestions on a cooler for this E2140 which im hoping to get a good 100% OC out of because others in the reviews seem to be doing fine with it, and if possible id like one that will work now and also be a good choice when i switch over to the Q6600 in a couple of months.

New build specs:
MSI P6N Platinum 650i Mobo
2GB Gskill DDR2 800
250GB Seagate
PNY 8600GT 512MB (OC'd. 700core, 1600mem)
E2140 (Hoping to OC to about 3.2-3.8. 4.0 would be a pipe dream)

the TT would be more than enough to push the clocks of your new CPU to its max stable freq. You have very high(3.2-3.8GHz) hopes about the clocks. Anything above 3GHz would be impressive and beyond average.

If you read carefuly youll see i was looking for a cheaper suggestion. I know the TT is good, i cant afford to get it right now. And ive been reading some reviews on newegg as well as talking to a few friends who know more about OCing than i do, and the E2140 is very much capable of 3.2GHz on air.

Cooler Master TX2 should do 3.2-3.4GHz if you have a good chip. Also monitor Hot Deals forum for the $18 Big Typhoon.
