cpu cooler how much pressure on cpu?

I have the enzotech cooler. It has 4 screws that have springs around the threads. I want to know how much should I turn the screws. Do i turn till I get the first hint of resistance or till it cant turn no more. I am idling at 50 degrees which is really high for a q6600. SO I am wondering if it needs to tight/loose????

The springs are there so you can tighten the screws until they bottom out. This ensures even torque.
