I'm about to build a new i5 system and i'm getting quite frustrated researching all the different CPU coolers for this chip. I won't be using the stock cooling solution because I intend to overclock.
At first I considered the Artic Cooling Freezer Pro Rev 2 but I heard it was only an average cooler and loud. I then considered the cocolermaster 212+ but i've read user comments on newegg saying it's a pain in the ass to install.
I'm wondering if I could get some good suggestions here for a cooler that will give exceptional cooling, installs easily and has a flat mounting block for the cpu. Also, I will be using this with an Asus P7p55d MB so it'll have to have adequate clearance. Thanks in advance!
*UPDATE* I've been reading good things about the Zalman CNP510X Extreme. Any opinions on this cooler for 1156 sockets and will it fit inside an antec 1080AMG case?
