I got a 2500+ Barton with a MSI K7n2 delta mobo and with my Vantec Aeroflow heatsink/fan it runs at 55 C under full load at default speed. This is too hot especially since I would like to overclock it. I was looking to purchase one of those nice Thermalright SK-7 heatsinks. Anyone know how hard it is to install one of these? My Vantec was an extreme pain in the ass to clip on and I felt like I was going to snap the mobo in half, I also noticed the MSI board has very little room around the heat sink so will it even fit? Thanks.

I have the same setup only I use the stock hsf with the 2500 and I'm @ 200x11 and my load is only 43C, I don't know why yours is so much higher. Just a comment, lol.

the SK7 was easy for me to install....one 4 systems so far...but I just found a deal in the Hot Deals forum but don't have a link....for a slk900a for $20 at SVC so I jumped on that deal...go to the hot deals forum and search for slk900 and you should find the post I am talking about and it has a coupon code for the cost of the HSF to be $20

no, 50-55 C under full load is definitely normal. This is the reading on an ABIT NF7-s board. On my aopen board, it was approx 8 degrees cooler.

Mine is on straight and flat and i idle at 41c and peak around 52C with an AX7. I ordered the 900a from svc last week and it should be here shortly.
