Hi all. I bought the Alpenfohn brocken cpu cooling fan on recommendation here for my first pc which is up and running. I have found the backplate that goes on the back of the mobo doesnt quite fit, the holes are just a bit out of reach (too short).
My mobo is the z77 d3h and has a LGA1155 socket (dunno if that matters). Does anyone know of a particular back plate i need to get that will fit?. I measured the hole distances and it appears to be 3 inches across and 3 inches top to bottom.
I had a good look around but nothing clearly states the length, as far as i can see anyway. They just said AMD, or i7 etc. So im not sure what to buy.
