CPU Choice

Hi, I'm going to build a computer soon and I'm trying to decide on what CPU I should get. I have seen a P4 1.6A with 400Mhz FSB for $129. I have also seen an AMD XP 1800+ for around $125. The last thing is a 1.4 Tbird that a friend offered me with a new copper core heatsink/fan combo for around $75. I'm in high school and am going to get a job soon, so I don't have too much money. Right now, I'm just looking for something that will give me good gaming performance, overall speed, and the ability to overclock. If there is something else you guys would recommend, then please, speak your mind 🙂

NOTHING overclocks like a 1.6A. 99% of them will do 2.1Ghz easily with nothing more than the stock heat sink and fan. With good RDRAM, you can run that at PC1066 as well.
