Question CPU blinks orange LED light and goes off.

I was able to buy all components of my first PC, Gigabyte z790 elite Ax, CPU( Intel i7 13700kf, Corsair 1000e PSU, corsair 16gb ddr5 sticks, gigabyte water Force aorus 360.
Done so far: I have tried building not inside the case, flash the mobo, remove all Ram sticks and gpu, placed CPU well, paper pin test on the PSU but nothing has worked
PC turns on and shuts almost immediately once the orange LED light turns on, not sure what is going on.
Please I need urgent help guys

The CPU didn't come with a fan or rather I connect the fan from the casing( Corsair 5000d airflow)

As long as there's a fan hooked up to the CPU header it should rule that out as a safety check when hitting the power button.

If the flash didn't take you could try it again and see if maybe it clears the issue or if you have another CPU try that or take it somewhere that sells CPUs and have them attempt a post on the MOBO/CPU. Give it a good few minutes to complete if you don't have a monitor hooked up to observe.

So I removed the water Force aorus connector but connected the fan from the casing not sure if that is right and the Flash attempt I have done completed so not sure what else I need to do.

Are you using the integrated GPU?

Plug in the CPU, a single stick of RAM, a keyboard, mouse, (no SSD/HD) and your monitor into the integrated GPU. Leave everything else unplugged. Hook up the front panel connector only for the power switch if possible. Connect a fan to the CPU fan header. Finally, connect both the ATX motherboard header as well as the CPU power connectors. Hit the power button and wait to see if something happens. If not, something might be DOA.

Do you have at least a heatsink on the CPU? A large HS alone will usually be cool enough to work in the BIOS. If you have nothing to cool the CPU, it will shut down almost immediately (over heat protection).

I have the paste on the CPU and like I said I got a gigabyte waterforce 360mm so I had to remove and disconnect everything when the PC refuses to come on

Thanks for your response, just need a clarification are suggesting I leave out the case connection, and I should just connect everything to the integrated GPU

OP do you have a GPU connected in the PCIe slot? Do you have the 2 8 pin EPS power cables connected to the top left of the motherboard?

Yeah, if you have a 13700kf, there is no integrated graphics. You will need a video card, and you will need to connect the monitor to that card, and not the motherboard. As mentioned, make sure there is enough cooling for your CPU and that all necessary power connections are plugged in.

Oh, okay. Misread on my part - I thought you disconnected the AIO as well.

OP do you have a GPU connected in the PCIe slot? Do you have the 2 8 pin EPS power cables connected to the top left of the motherboard?

Yes I have all that connected and I had to remove the GPU since it's not turning on.
