Athlon 750 Slot A cpu on a Asus K7M mobo. Windows 98SE OS. Did a cpu benchmark in Sandra, my 750 got a 191/234 It compared it with a Duron 600, it scored a 1675/817 BIG diference! Anybody tell me what my problem might be? I know I need a bigger PSU(one Im using now is a 235W thats not causing any problems at all. Could the small PSU hold back the cpu?

Try the latest version of Sandra 2001 with the update.

Check your BIOS setting, make sure L1 and L2 cache are ENABLED.

if sandra is accurate then your computer should be slow as poo, like a p133. if it isn't then i would assume sandra made a booboo.

L1 and L2 is enabled. I was running a Asus P5A & K26/450@500 and this setup is faster so it has to be a Sandra screw up.Now if I could just figure out why the cpu temp sensor on the mobo is not working.

I had Sandra 2K1 freak out on me in Win2K before. I would get CPU bench scores like ~40000...
