So i've now tried 2 motherboards with the same AMD Athlon that WAS working earlier today. When i turn it on, all the fans are going, but no beeps, and nothing on screen.

I've tried 2 motherboards, and 2 video cards, and all RAM slots. Using the Antec 380 PSU

Do I have a bad CPU? :-/

i took ur advice, tried a sparkle 300W psu with only the board & hard drive connected, using on-board video, same result. The fans turn on, but no beeps or bootup :-(

What type of processor is it? Before throwing it away, you might want to try just clearing the CMOS on one of the boards. I recently bought an AMD Athlon XP mobile 3000+ chip, and went through 3 Asus boards before figuring it out. I had to clear the CMOS to get it to post just ONCE, then I had to immediately enter the bios and relax the timings otherwise it wouldn't reboot. Not sure what was causing this, but I now know it wasn't the board. BTW, stay away from the mobile 3000+ chips, they're nothing but headaches! :disgust:
