CPU uCode error !!!

I get this error when I boot uo my newly built system during the initial check up (No OS installed)

BIOS detected all hardware. CPU specs were correct. I just wanted to know what
this error was. Any cause of concern ??? or will it go away on BIOS update

Core 2 Quad 2.4Ghz (q6600)
Asus P5K Deluxe
Crucial Ballistix Tracer 800Mhz 4x1GB @ 4-4-4-12
XFX GeForce 8800GT 512MB @ 640 MHZ
Western Digital Raptor X 150GB 10,000RPM
Seagate 500GB SATA 32MB Cache 7200RPM
Antec 900 Case
Rosewill Xtreme 750 W
 
It *should* go away on BIOS update. I've seen this before on Asus boards. One time however it ended up being a flakey CPU.
 
the u stands for micro (like how G stand for giga, M stands for mega, p stands for pico). There's nothing wrong with your cpu, and yes a bios update should fix it. All it means right now is that your cpu may not run at its full potential until you get the microcode update, and you'll get that annoying msg every boot.
