Hi
I am trying to get my wifes old v3000 (core duo 1.6ghz)going since its newer and faster than my old hp ze2308wm. The problem is that after I replaced the screen plastics about a month later the screen would flicker and come on then one day no back light but it had a fine image just no illumination. So I proceed to change the inverter and put a new display cable in and nothing. So figuring that the ccfl (because it was flickering) was dead I got another screen assembly since I didn't want to put one(ccfl) in the old screen. I got it the other day plugged it in and nada same as the old one image but no illumination. maybe a bad ccfl, inverter etc on the new screen? So now I am getting yelled at for putting more money into this pos. Is there a way to check for correct voltage to the inverter? I know the video card is working as it displays the image already and it works fine when hooked up to an external monitor. I'm about ready to throw this thing through a window so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Ben
