about to choose a hosting site. wondered your thoughts on the two control panels.

didn't know if this should go in Off Topic or Software-Apps. Most hosting threads end up in Off Topic so I went here...

Mine uses cpanel, which im quite happy with. It feels like windows xp vs 2000.
I would like DA, but when you look @ it from another point.. its just the control panel and the website looks good wether CP or DA ;]
xp-DA
2k-DA

i used cPanel back when Diexysys was offering their promotion. It was a horrible interface.

I've been using Cpanel for years and for basic stuff I really like it. I command-line in directly otherwise (linux server).

Never heard of DirectAdmin but looks pretty neat after doing some googling.

DA. It just looks cleaner and better organized. There's only one ore two cPanel skins that are decent, and no one seems to use them. Also, I didn't think DA was available for windows based servers, it's a linux only thing.
