Basically like a super mutual fund...

I've got TurboTax and I'd like to simulate my tax burden assuming I do well in this fund... Even if I take no distributions during the tax year, I assume I have to pay taxes on the earnings? What's the best way to simulate investment trust gains... TTax only seems to have options for stocks and mutual funds...
