Yes, I spent the night shopping at Overstock. My asthma wouldn't let me sleep......

The motherboard is $55-20 (if you qualify) -$25 Platinum Card (which I think you can use as soon as you get Ok'd). Final price $10 with free shipping. (possible if you can combine both deals)

Maybe it's too early but it looks like this is for a next time purchase after you sign up for a platinum discover card?

Edit- I see you mentioned that in the Epson 860 cartridges which I need anyway! thanks (thanks again for the OM 860 deal, I found a way to get my rebate)

You are right. I am in Michigan. When I go to Arizona I am in great health! Can't move for another eight years. But I love my vacations out there!

I don't think you fully understand the offer. You have to make 2 purchases at Overstock in order to get the $25 off. You register for the Discover Platinum after the first one, then 4-6 weeks later IF you are approved you qualify for $25 off your next purchase. So if you have good credit, want something now, and think that motherboard is going to be there in 4-6 weeks, then go for it. Sounds like a lot of red tape to me.

Refering to earlier in the thread, how did you manage to get the Epson 860 rebate? Also ygreenkitty if your asthma is as bad as it sounds, you definitely should be on a preventative medication or 2 such as a steroid inhaler and (not or) Singulair ( I assume/hope you don't smoke! ). Asthma is a very serious disease; don't mess with it.

Thanks for the support on the asthma--am following doctor's orders (for a change), looking into Singulair, getting rid of carpets, cats--don't smoke.

Hmmmm....if it wasn't for the reparte' on the internet I'd be bored stiff this week.....

CP810:
No AGP [hi-speed graphics slot].
No ISA [old-style slot].
No FC-PGA socket [supporting later/faster CPU's].
A never-popular ICH chip [replaced by ICH2 on "e"s: 810e, 815e].
Limited graphics capability in on-board i752-based H/W.

Not a capable 3D-gaming base, but okay for office/browsing/light-gaming. I wouldn't hesitate to build something on this for a defined-purpose. ('Can't say if its onboard video could be disabled and replaced with a cheap 3DFX PCI-card, improving its graphics.)

But this is a dead-end board, supporting only out-of-production CPU's.

Not a choice for me, but if it fits your needs, perhaps a great buy?
