Anandtech,

One of my first deals, so be merciful. Any feedback would be great too.

I picked up the Kodak DX3600 Digital Camera from Staples. It retails at 299.99 there.

I was able to pricematch the camera against Dell.

I then applied the Staples $30 off $150 coupon bringing the total to $239.96.

Then I smacked on a Sandisk 64 MB Compact Flash Card which I pricematched against Amazon.com and reduced the price by an extra few dollars.

After taxes the total came to $310.51.

Just thought I would give you guys a heads up. I used AMEX so that I have 60 price protection, meaning that if the price goes down lower than what I got it for today in the next 60 days my card will be refunded the difference. If there are any questions or ways to make this deal better, let me know.

Regards

EB

No offense

Kodak DX3600 is one of the worst cameras I've ever seen. It is made of real cheap plastics and also the stupid toy-like design makes it a real toy.

Kodak used to make decent cameras, but not anymore. Nowadays Canon and Nikon manufacture much better ones.

Amazon has 128MB Sandisk Compact Flash for 49.99 after $10 coupon.
