Cox Twin engine RC plane 99.96

any comments on the quality of this guy? is it any good for someone with 0 experience? I know you could get an ARF for a little more, but would have to invest in controls/servos/engines/etc.

This looks like it's ready to go once you charge the battery.

What about the other plane at walmart. link It says it has "electrofan jet engines" does that mean anything? does it have more power? ive had two electric rc planes in the past, and neither flew well because they were underpowered. they flew at most 100 feet, then crashed.

<< it says it turns by controlling the speed of the motors..... I don't li ke the sounds of that......

you control by putting more thrust in one engine then another thus turning the plane.

That's not right. You want to use control surfaces first, and thrust vectoring to enhance that, not thrust vectoring alone.

Tower Hobbies has some RTF electrics with almost everything four $69.99. Go to this page, scroll down to find the Hobbico Sun Pilot, Hobbico Zoom Pilot and a few others.

They have rudder control, if I read the manual correctly.

Anyone that flies RC would laugh at this but if u just want something to get u into the air it could be alright... not really hot though.

Has anyone actually flown one of these, or any plane for that matter? I am thinking this would be 5 minutes of fun followed by a trip to the dumpster after a crash and burn resulting in 100 bucks flushed down the toilet.
