Cows are not healthy for you to eat right?

I just want to clarify this.

It's the same reason venison and beef taste the same, but venison is so much healthier for you. Cows get loaded up to get fat and slaughtered, which is why they aren't good for you.

Someone else thinks that beef is good for you

not as good as venison, though

A few clarifications for the OP:

Lean beef, in moderation, is good for you.

Fat is not bad in and of itself.

Venison and beef do not taste the same.

Chili doesn't count.

There is a huge taste difference between the two. ;)

I believe what the OP is referring to is the practice of "fattening up" cows as opposed to free range venison.

It's still being debated, but wild meat does tend to have less fat and higher protien counts. This goes for chicken and turkey as well.
Buffalo meat FTW!

You should eat all kinds of meats, not only one. Therefore a diet that includes fish, fowl and cow along with lots of whole grains, fruits and veggies will be perfectly healthy.

Yes but we all know white meat is better for your body than red meat is...

moreover not only do they fatten up cows, they pump them full of hormones. and hormones cause cancer (indisputable). the only question is whether they pump enough hormones into cows that it affects us...

Really? Show me a single valid peer reviewed and repeated study showing bovine growth hormone causing cancer in humans.
