Hey guys,

A coworker of mine currently uses Blackberries for work, but would like to make the switch to Android for the better browser. One of the things stopping him at the moment is the fact that he can set his Blackberry (Bold?) to beep and vibrate every 15 seconds or so when a call is missed. Just the LED indicator is NOT enough.

Is there a way to do this with Android? He said he researched one third party app on the market that supposedly can do this, but the developer said he won't be able to port it over to Froyo immediately due to time restrictions. My coworker absolutely needs this feature to be available 100% of the time due to his job, no exceptions.

Any ideas? For now, he's just sticking to the Blackberry.

If he likes the 9700 he should just wait till OS 6 is released with the decent browser.

In the mean time he can use Opera Mini.

I use FlashNotify for all this android. annoys you by constantly turning on your screen for missed calls and texts. Works really well.

You can do this with Tasker, assuming you can figure out a little bit of scripting. The app itself is really robust and you can do a lot of things with it.
