How about that NFC east, huh? LOL I too thought it was going to be difficult but one torn ACL, Eli regressing to a rookie, and whatever the hell happened to the Redskins, and its only the 8-4 Cowboys looking decent.

Side note: I am still not putting Romo in the hall of fame yet, but is this the game we needed to see to be able to tell how he responds? I mean, that first half was pretty bad and he came back in the 2nd like nothing happened. Or do we still need to see him completely suck a game and then come back and play great the next game? discuss.

NExt week... Cowboys vs Saints, should be a great (hopefully high-scoring) game. Cowboys pass D has to improve, Eli was picking them apart.

For the record, the Eagles sucked hard this year lo0ng before McNabb's torn ACL. You cannot blame their bad season on that.
Giants were playing great football until they got hit with a plethora of injuries. I'm not using that as an excuse because they still lost some games they should've won easily but you know it's a big part of it. This game they got some guys back and looked like an NFL team again. Yeah, they lost but they played a good game. Eli looked like an NFl QB today too.

Dallas played pretty poorly, glad to see Romo bounce back from a slow 1st half, even happier to see Dallas has essentially locked up the NFC east at this point.

I don't think he played that well, aside from that brilliant game-winning pass to Whitten. He has great ability to move around, avoid sacks and throw accurately on the run, but I don't think he beat the Giants. I think the Giants beat themselves. Again.

He engineered two scoring drives in the last 3 minutes on the road against a division rival in a game that could very well have defined who wins the division.

I'd call that winning the game.

Wow! Most exciting game of the season. I have to give the Giants some respect, after their performance the last three weeks I kinda expected them to roll over in this game.
But they put up a well played tough fought game despite some major holes due to injury.

Not exactly. The first of the last 2 scoring drives was not within the last 3 minutes of the game, as a matter of fact the TD was with 3:38 remaining and the drive began long before that. But regardless, I think Romo certainly has the skills and he'll probably be a good QB for along time. What I meant by what I said is that the Giants didn't lose because of Romo's fantastic QB play last night. They beat themselves. Dallas is a good football team, but they didn't outplay the Giants IMO. I think the Giants, if they were better coached and didnt commit ridiculous penalties would've won the game. I think they are more talented than Dallas but they can't get their act together. JMO.

Be honest. Did you think Gramatica was gonna make that kick? I know I didn't. He looked scared to death out there.

Considering Dallas hasn't had an accurate field goal kicker in many years, I never expect them to make a kick.

However

I mean, it goes both ways. Overall, Dallas played pretty poorly. Its my opinion that New York didn't keep the game close - Dallas let them keep the game close. Jones wasn't hitting the hole, T.O. was dropping passes, Romo was off, and the defense didn't get any sacks/turnovers. Two can play this game.

What it comes down to, Romo turned it on in the 4th quarter when it counts, and Dallas won the game to take a two game lead in the division.
