I've been seeing the bike parked in the spot next to mine and thought nothing of it until it was parked in MY carport last night. I figured it had to belong to my carport neighbor but didn't know for sure. I didn't have to park too far, but it just pisses me off someone would go and do that knowing someone else has that spot, so in my mind, they deserve the worst punishment they can get. Anyways, after fighting the urge to leave a fat gash down his bike. I went home and just said to myself it better be gone tomorrow. Well, it left around 8pm last night and I was already parked somewhere else so I didn't bother to move my car. This morning I come out and the bike is back in my spot. I'm just pretty pissed someone is doing this just because they don't care (i'm almost 100% the guy that usually park next to me prob knows this douche).

Anyways, don't wanna leave myself to be the target of any attacks on my car, so i wanna tell the apartment people to get the bike towed and say it's because the bike isn't licensed to park there. Not because I called. They don't come in until 9am so I wanted to call once they come in this morning. Or should i just leave a note and go from there? Meh, although, I don't feel like cutting anyone that would do that any breaks.

UPDATE:

So from seeing your opinions as how it would be double douche baggery to just have his bike towed, I just got off the phone with management and they are going to leave a note stating that the vehicle isn't registered to park in this spot. And in 24 hours if the problem persists then it'll be bye bye to his pretty green bike.

Call and have them take care of it. Do you pay for this spot or does it come with your unit?

If you wanted to be nicer, could just leave a note along the lines of:

Don't park here again please, or I'll have no choice but to have you towed."

Then again, I see nothing wrong with just having it towed. It's pretty asinine to park where you know you're not supposed to.

I would be a bit more mature about it. I would start by wiping boogers on the handles. If he doesn't get the hint from that, move up to peeing on his seat. If he is still clueless, take a dump in his helmet.

Damn, that crossed my mind many of times....that and putting a knife into the tire with a note reading "This was meant for the asshole who lives here, but you'll do just fine."

I'd say try a note too, maybe even leave a cell phone # to handle it like gentlemen. If that doesn't work, tow.

There is this guy that drives an RSX at my apt. He takes 2 spaces everytime...on purpose. He swears his RSX is a porsche. Kind of annoying when there are no spaces left.

They don't seem to be the nicest crowd judging by my neighbor, so them having my number and access to my car isn't too reassuring.

Get some green face paint and some shoe polish; spread this around on your face to create a nice camouflage pattern. Put on some Army fatigues and hide in the shadows, waiting. When you see the bastard come in and put his bike there, you have two options. You can run him through with your Ka-Bar, giving him an opportunity to see what his own intestines look like before he dies. Or you can wait for him to step over the conveniently placed remote-detonation claymore (you'll definitely want to go with a remote detonation in a high traffic area like a parking garage to make sure you hit your intended target). Either way, fuck him, he's done, and his bike will no longer bother you.

Either that or it may be a hot chick, in which case you seduce her, and then use either of the options mentioned above. There's no sexism when it comes to teaching a worthless bike punk a lesson.

So you don't have the interpersonal skills to talk to someone?

Write a note, leave it until the next day, have it towed if it happens again. Seems simple enough... You pay (although indirectly) for the spot, so don't put up with that shit.

No I'm just saying, I'd leave a note and MAYBE talk to them in person. But giving them more ammunition for payback isn't too reassuring. The fact that they do this knowing I park there sends red flags that I don't really have the time or patience to deal with them. If it were someone in a rush and parked/blocked there, I prob wouldn't care or would just tell them to move their hunk of junk.

I like the way you think...

BTW, call the apartment management. Let them handle it, BUT, don't be surprised if they don't.

They second you saw the bike in your spot you should of left a note. Now either you leave a note or risk pissing of neighbor and possible vandalism to your car for having it towed.

We don't know how big the offending bike is, but you COULD get some friends to pick the bike up and move it somewhere else...hide the thing in a different part of the complex...:D

of course if you drop it, scratch it, break something, etc., you'll be responsible...so wear gloves to prevent fingerprints...:p

I understand your reasoning here, but when your car gets trashed it'll be easy to point the police in the right direction. If that's the path that this person is going to choose for the both of you to deal with, then the only way to avoid it is by speaking to them.

Slit his tires and put pancake syrup in his gas tank. However, you'll have to give up parking in that spot for the rest of your lease. Totally worth it, oh and set up a web cam.
