Just curious what sites are folks looking at to track the spread of COVID? Could you post some here? The main ones I look at are:

I've seen rt.live a fair amount for MA. It's useful, but I also see people over-interpreting the data - like only posting about the mean Rt, while ignoring the somewhat large error bars, and the relatively steady mean for the last two weeks; and then also ignoring the other factors that need to be monitored together, like test positivity rate and new cases. I'm not advocating for a rapid reopening here in MA, I just want to see data used appropriately: eg, discuss the different aspects together, not as hair on fire individual pieces.

Unfortunately, without any sort of national leadership, reliable testing/tracing, and aid given to allow people to stay home, there's literally no point in tracking this in my mind right now because we'll never, ever get out from under it unless drastic changes are made.

If we have a change in power in January, and that's a relatively big if unfortunately, it will be too late to control it anyway.

Trump is leaning on Chuck Woolery now as his Covid Expert and busy scapegoating Fauci. His number one goal is to get a vaccine approved before election day with a 25% effective placebo effect.
