Just imagine how hot it must have been to watch that eat a rotisserie chicken.

How did Wal-mart gather the evidence? That woman looks like she could inhale an entire chicken in one bite, bones and all. No carcass, no crime.

I see plenty of empty cans and bottles all over walmart. Nothing new.
People dont even try to hide it any more. No shame.

The chicken was a nice touch, I will admit.

My neighbor's wife works for Walmart's Asset Protection, and she says they are not allowed to stop anyone for food theft. People know this and eat all the time while they are shopping and the employees can't do a thing about it.

what? its not illegal to steal food from walmart? hear that everyone? i dont care if people steal from walmart or target, they supposedly pay so little that the taxpayers end up supporting their workers, so the more people stealing food from them, the less food stamps everyone gonna need, right?

ive never hear of walmart selling rotiserie chickin, they dont do that at any walmart ive ever been to

fyi...pretty sure it's a liability and/or legal issue, not "oh, let's see if they pay for it." I'm guessing most stores have a rule like that

Exactly my thoughts as well. And even to add to that, they probably don't want negative publicity stemming from stopping some poor starving family trying to get by. Though, from the stories I've heard, it is not usually starving people that do this. Poor, yes, but not starving. They just do it because they can, and they don't give a shit.

By far the best part of that news story is that the author used Google Maps to trace the pair's getaway route.
