1. Given the rice, soy sauce, and actual fish, how does the average sushi roll relate (nutritionally) to your average sandwich?

2. Most rolls are cut into bite size pieces. If you bite halfway through, they have a tendancy to fall apart, so how are you supposed to eat the ends of the sushi rolls (eg: spider roll with 4 inches of stuff sticking out of the side) without being awkward?

Just bite off the ends, then eat the roll.

1. What type of sandwich? P/B, turkey, veggie, etc.?

2. Eat the entire bite-size slice at once, seafood-facing-down towards your tongue (so you experience the full flavor).

Dezign is correct.

The proper way to eat sushi is meat part down onto the tongue all at once half covered with soy sauce.

I'm not talking about the bite sized slice. that's fvcking easy. I mean the ends of the rolls that have shrimp + soft shell crab sticking out. It's virtually impossible to eat the ends in one bite. If I attempt to do multiple bites the roll falls apart. For now, I'm disecting the ends, removing the protruding seafood, but it's an awkward solution.

you're talking about hand rolls. just squeeze that crap down to a manageable size and eat the top off. or just take 2 bites.
