Okay, I currently have the BIOS version 1008 (I haven't updated it yet) on the mobo, and it detects the processor as "AMD Unknown". Does that matter? The machine is running fine, etc, and I was just wondering about that.

The Opteron 148 is OCed from 2.2 to 2.62GHz (10.5 multiplier, 250 CPU MHz, HTT 4X). But I haven't seen anything in the BIOS about this memory divider. What does that option look like in BIOS?

Thanks.

EDIT: There was this setting for memory speed or something, and it's options were a) auto, b) CPU, c) 333MHz. Is that the divider?

Look for 5:6 or 166Mhz memory speeed. Run Prime95 and Memtest for about one 12 hours. If okay, the run Super Pi 1M digits. You should see between 32 and 35 sec computation time. Don't worry about the processor ID.

Look in your ram settings, there will be an option that lists a couple of ram speeds: 400mhz 333mhz, 266mhz, 200mhz and the corresponding ones above 400mhz. Those are the memory dividers.

333mhz would be 333/400*FSB to get the ram speed, 266 would be 266/400*FSB
