Also, I have 2x256 Sticks of Infineon DDR SDRAM PC2100, a couple hard drives, optical drives, floppy drives.

NOTE : It's not a gaming computer, it's for every day use.

1. How well would this over clock?
2. Should I get a cheaper Sempron and just clock that instead?
3. Are there any other parts for the same price or cheaper that would be a better choice?

Thanks for whatever help I can get. ^_^

1. I doubt it will overclock well if at all, but if it's just an everyday use comptuer (surfing the web, typing documents, etc) then you don't really need to overclock it.

2. It's up to you. You won't really notice the difference in speed if you go down a notch, but it's all up to you. Remember though, you won't be able to overclock well with this setup.

3. Don't know much about Canadian resellers and stuff, sorry can't help you here.

For good overclockability, the most important part is the motherboard. Also you won't want anything less than Corsair Value Select 🙂

Heh. Yeah good point...... I'm used to thinking that CVS is the lowest of the lowest... but then again there are some REALLY crappy sticks out there.
