Hey first of all this is my first C2D setup and i dont know which settings to tune down or turn off. Such as the HT setting which defaults at 5X should i change this?
I bought this processor used with a big typhoon. Temps are using TAT 44 and 46 at boot, but 30C in nvidia monitor (I like this temp better TAT is about 60 at the 1 min load till orthos fails.
What i have done is change the HT to 4X, Set quad bus to 1600 x 8X = 3.2, but orthos only runs for like 1min, also vcore is set to 1.43 but reads 1.4 in cpuz, Cpu FSB is set to 1.3, memory is at 2.1volt and at relaxed timings 555 15. Also i have the setting at UNLINKED and memory running at 800mhz. 1:1 would be the same setting at this speed and is what i think i should do.
So should i try higher volts on cpu, fsb should i increase volts at spp? Which temp should i be most worried about prob intels thermal analysis tool right?
