Couple questions about routers and phoneline connections...

If I want to share a broadband connection between 2 computers with a router, can I use a phoneline connection, rather than a regular ethernet cable, to connect the second (remote) computer to the router?

Are phoneline connections just plugging a phone cord into the back of the ethernet card, and then into the wall phone jack?

Those kits that used your house's AC wiring to network 2 computers together, are they still around? IIRC 3com had one, but looking around compusa.com and bestbuy.com just now, I didn't see any...

Thanks for any replies...

You need a HPNA to ethernet bridge. You attach the bridge to the 10/100 switch (or a router), then attach a 4-wire phone cable from the bridge to your phone socket. At another phone socket (if you have multiple hone lines, make sure they are the socket to the same phone number), connect a 4-wire phone cable to thePC with an HPNA PCI adapter.
