Couple questions about my new 7950

Do I use both the 6 and 8 pin power connectors? The obvious answer is yes, but just wanted to check.

It has a HDMI, dual link DVI-I, and 2 mini displayport outs. I run 2 monitors, which have HDMI, dual link DVI-D, and VGA ins. What is the cheapest way to set this up, use HDMI for one and DVI-D for the other, or get a DVI-HDMI adapter and 2 HDMI cables?

Yes, use both power connectors.

Using HDMI/DVI is preferred as long as you don't need audio on the 2nd monitor.
