Couple of questions to Logitech Cordless Elite Duo MX owners

What is the maximum effective range? How often do you change batteries?

i charge my mouse mabye once a week or so and it tends to work from about 6 feet away at the most...staying responsive and such. Great set i really love the mx700 mouse its been the best mouse ive ever owned and i've gone through the new and old microsoft mice....they dont even compare
