Couple of questions to Ipod owners...

I am considering purchasing Ipod and looking for some info:

1. What is the folder structure of Ipod? Is it Genre>Artist>Album>Song.mp3? Are you free to arrange folders in anywhich manner, meaning I can have as many subfolders as I want?

2. I was told that I will have no problems using Mac formatted Ipod on PC with Xplay and I will not need to re-format it; is it true?

It goes Artist -> Album -> Song.

Also, Xplay is awesome for using a Mac-formatted iPod on a PC. That is how I do it on the PC side.
