I brought my viper to the lehigh valley cars and coffee and managed to get called into the big boys lot. I took a couple pics:

Love the color. Vipers just stick out. The GTR behind it looks like a regular car now.

I want to pick up a Viper as a second car but my mechanic keeps scaring me away. He says I will kill myself with that much power...

This is over-rated IMO. It makes for great magazine articles but in reality a stock Viper is pretty docile if you aren't an idiot.

Nice! Any mods, or all stock?

All stock except for aftermarket wheels the first owner put on them. Just put new pirelli p-zeros on it though! Maybe one day I'll do an exhaust and headers.

Indeed. The throttle is ridiculously long, you really have to mean it to go fast. It is a joy to drive. You can kill yourself with any car if you're a moron.

I would clarify that that is in reference to street driving - I make no claims to being able to extract its full potential on a track, and I'm sure it gets scary at the edge. But for responsible adult street driving they are completely docile, and I regularly let people with no high powered car experience drive mine.

I'll be going to the Nashville Cars and Coffee in May. It will be my first time going to one. Going to be fun! I'm going with my Uncle who bought a new Camaro SS, blacked out.
