Couple of Linux newbie questions

More specifically, I guess these would be x windows questions, but hey...

First, on installation I selected Gnome (with Enlightenment) as my default Window Manager, in spite of the fact I've always used KDE in the past... Thought I'd give it a try, but I don't like it. I installed KDE as well - how do I switch over?

And second, how do I increase my mouse movement rate? All I can seem to adjust is sampling rate (I've got a Logitech optical) and acceleration, neither of which is what I'm looking for. Acceleration is annoying. I'm looking for a faster, constant velocity.

Thanks in advance for any help!

just run the command xwmconfig. That should get it done. I'm running slackware and had to set all this up myself so i'm assuming it will work other places too.
