Couple of IC7 questions - RAm and Serial ATA adapters

To run in dual-channel mode for the memory, do I have to do anything other than putting the sticks in slots 1 and 3 or 2 and 4? I have two sticks of HyperX 512 each.


I saw a link to some Serial ATA to IDE adapters, and they had a specific note that they would not work with an IC7 mobo. Is there a specific adapter I need to get?
