Couple HL2 questions.

1. I had this installed on my previous rig and it would say how many bullets I had left, now on this one all it has is these funny lookin symbols to tell how many bullets I have left, I don't want to desypher a code to know how many bullets I have left.

2. Is there a FPS demo for HL2 like the one for Doom2. I want to be able to change settings and see how it has changed my average FPS. I know about the video stress test under CSS but I don't think that takes into account the settings.

Sorry I can't answer your question due to my cd-key being activated on my son's pc and his will not play the game without jumping. It meets the systems recommendations by the way.

My question is - How do you change from one machine to another?

Well when you set up HL2 and had to register it, you picked a username and password, when you use it on the new machine you just enter the username and password you created before.

My old rig was a 1.4ghz Athlon, 512 ram, radeon 9600. It ran 800x600 low or med quality I can't remember, it had some jumping.

New rig is a Athlon 64 3000+, 1gb ram, Geforce 6800gt. It runs 1280x980 high quality everything, 4x AA, 8x AF, it does jump a tad bit now and then due to all the high quality settings.
