I just installed Windows 8 and in Windows Update, there is a WDDM 1.2 update that consistently fails to update. I already am running Catalyst 12.11 beta 11, so is it simply failing due to a newer version being installed? Or because these drivers aren't WHQL?
Second, I get extremely minor artifacting when there is a long line of blue links in Chrome (for example page numbers of a long forum thread). the artifact is an extremely small rectangle a few pixels high under the mouse cursor, only appear when I move the mouse very fast across the links. There are no other artifacts anywhere else, even when gaming. Is this also a driver problem? Or even a problem?
