can anyopne suggest some counting crows songs that are good?

i've been listening to:

round here
anna begins
mr. jones
big yellow taxi

but i know there's more. i like their sound. suggestions?

Anything but big yellow taxi. The original was horrible and their remake is horrendous.

Buy the album that has Round Here on it - I forget the name. It's very good.

just search for counting crows on kazaa then download them all

August and Everything After (yes the whole album) is really the best of their work IMHO. Their most recent disc comes closest to the brilliance of that first one but still falls short I think.

yeah I like the counting crows...but only the August and Everything After album. ANd the song Long December.

See if you can find the live version of Anna Begins from the Across a Wire 2-disc set. Great version.

They allow taping, so it shouldn't be that difficult to find some (legaL) (free) (downloadable) shows.

Their first two albums are great (August and Everything After, and Recovering the Satellites). August... is one of my favorite all-time CDs. All of their stuff after has been disappointing IMO.

I agree. My favorite is Omaha on that cd, but there are a lot of close seconds on that album.
