While most of you probably didn't know, the CD "August and Everything After" was actually named after a song that was deleted at the last minute from the record in place of "Raining in Baltimore"

Last friday, the 12th, Adam played this song for the first time ever live. It's pretty amazing and if you like this band at all, you should def. get this song.

Get it here

This is it in decently high quality. Enjoy.

Cool, thanks.

I was wondering whether it was a song, because you can see the lyrics on the background of that album cover

These guys are still together? That's unfortunate.

Not as unfortunate as your posting, my useless internet fiend.

If you've never seen the CCs live I highly recommend it, they rock. I own pretty much everything they have released and just love AdamD's voice, a true poet.

I was a fan for the first two albums. All their music after that was just meh IMHO

I tend to agree, while their latter efforts are tolerable, they are no where near as great as their first two discs.

Whoa...CR, you're just about the last person I'd expect to be a Counting Crows fan. I personally am indifferent about them...but  to hard to find music.

I'm a man of many mysteries.

My sister told me they might show up to the Insight Bowl on the 26th, if I see them at the afterparty, you want an autograph or something? I'm neutral to them so I don't need it.

No guarantees though, around famous people, I get pangs of anxiety which then follows with extreme vertigo...so basically I walk up to someone, then breathe really short and hard, then I'll spin around fall down.

Thanks for the link. Counting Crows is an incredible band. Granted, their music isn't for everyone, but many people enjoy the complexness of their song structure and layering. Most of their stuff is quite impressive.

Good stuff, it's pretty decent quality too.
Do you know if it's a soundboard or a mic recording?

No idea, it sounds like a mic recording because if it was soundboard I imagine the piano would sound a lot better.
