Hi,
Recently I tested both of my computers with the Video Stress Test in CounterStrike Source. What I found was extremely shocking, and I'm hoping someone can help me fix the problem.
My first computer is a Pentium 4 (2.4ghz) with 1024mb of RAM, running a Radeon 9000. At 1024x768 this computer recorded an average of 39.23 fps.
My second computer is an AMD Dual Core 4200+ also with 1024mb of RAM, running an integrated GeForce 6150. At 1024x768 this computer recorded an average of only 19.21 fps.
Both computers were running the exact same video settings: http://img58.imageshack.us/img58/3952/settingsde6.png
Why is my second computer getting such a slow framerate? I'd expect it to be alot faster than it is.
Thanks to anyone who can help 🙂
