Counterstrike problem :-(

I recently switched motherboards and now I am have having trouble with couterstrike. The new motherboard is an MSI model with the Nivida chipset. I have an AMD 1.6 system, with a Gforce3 video card, soundblaster 5.1 and 512 of main memory. Other than the motherboard this is all the same hardware I had before. Sometimes I get the message to send an error report to microsoft and other times I get a "irql_not_less_or_equal" blue screen message. I have already tried the following: new video drivers, new sound drivers, new motherboard drivers, all of the windows updates, reloaded the full game, removed all the cards exept for the video card (used onboard sound) and it still does it.
Any suggestions? I love this game. thanks
