Which should I play?

i've got some time to kill and i haven't played a FPS in a long time...

edit:

ok, i installed the BF1942 single player demo to check it out.

the screen is cut off on the bottom! i went into video settings and i can highlight different settings, but i can't confirm them.

btw, i'm on a 1800FP (1280x1024) and a Radeon 8500

correct, the first one is actually a line of code from a script in the Sun Solaris Operating System. (if you replace terrorists with processes).

battlefield 1942 desert combat alpha mod DESTROYS CS.... no comparison at all...

however if you are just looking for something to pass the time.. CS is cheaper and quicker to install 😀... but you get what you pay for
 
BF1942 is the best. Way better than hiding behind some crates waiting for a ct to walk by, or getting awp'd right off the bat and sitting out the whole round waiting for some schmuck who is hiding behind a crate waiting for a ct to walk by.
