Counterstrike/Opengl Question

Anyone get the message
opengl is not supported by your video card in windows xp?

i have an nvidia video card, tried reinstalling the drivers, and the game over and over again, still no go.
it used to work and then it stopped working.
i know others have had the problem, just can't seem to find an answer to how to fix it.

How old is ur video card....?

First check if ur video card really does support opengl. Look on the web.

If it does, then the problem is probably more software oriented

If it doesn't, then get a new graphics card

its a G4-Ti4200, as i stated it all of a sudden stated it won't support it. i played it for a day or two and then boom, that damn message comes up.

Hmn...the Ti4200 definitely does support opengl....

Try getting a newer version driver.......

Really don't know what the problem is...What changes did you make to the system in the 2 days when the game was playing fine?

Also, have you tried playing other games implementing opengl?

Hmmm.

I run CS with the GF4-ti4200. Run openGL just fine at 1600x1200 on XP Pro

There are other kats with same Counter-Strike/XP/Nvidia problem. Some have solved their problems; some not.

You might have deleted the OpenGL driver in Windows ... ?
