Counterstrike: manual resolution resize

Hi, I just got a Dell 700m Laptop as a gift for uni, and want to play CS 1.6 on it sometimes.

The default resolution of this lappy is 1280x800. How do I make counterstrike this? I remember there being a way to change it into whatever you want. Any help would be great, thanks!

right click the shortcut --> properties

at the Target section

append this to the end:

-w 1280 -h 800

that should work
