here are my specs: msi k7t pro2a w/ tbird 850mhz not o/c. Xentor32 TNT2Ultra....
I installed win98se thinking it was the OS or something when CS kept crashing in win2k pro. The game still crashes sometimes....the video stops and the sound is looped. I have the via 4-in-1 v4.29 installed, default optimized settings in the bios...with onboard audio disabled...acpi disabled. ALL PCI cards are not sharing IRQs ...and ....directx 7 is installed because of UT....oh and I also have the latest guillemot drivers installed because the latest from Nvidia gives me more errors in the game....can I run the game without the via drivers installed?? I mean..just install the ide drivers or something....other than that I have no other ideas left..any help would be appreciated..thanks
 
how often does it crash? like is it every time you try to play? mine does the same thing, but it only does it about once a week.
 
the game crashes like....I guess almost every time i do play...because when I do play I don't play for a long time. I'll play for like 30min. Yesterday the game crashed after 5 min. of play....
