Counterstrike help...

I'm borrowing my friends copy of counterstrike (the game, not the stand-alone mod) completete with a legit cd-key.

I try to install the game, but after its like 95% done, it says it cant copy a file, and I've tried to copy the file myself, but it still doesnt work.

any suggestions?

Yeah. The CD might be scratched. Do you have another drive? Try cleaning off the CD too.
