Counterstrike for XBox

Anyone get a chance to play this yet? Bought it but not sure I want to keep it/open it, wanted to get your opinions on how the game is.

not bad.

At least it's not a hackfest like the original. BF1942 finally got some bad hacks to it, unfortunately I now hack to tell when other people are hacking. 🙁

Some guy in FS/FT is selling it, says you can't go online. What's the point of CS with no online play :S

Hes Hmm Dumb... You CAN go online.

You can go online with it (XBC or Live!) - I think he means that he can't, which is why he's selling it

iwearnosox - thanks for the link. I've only played CS twice on my cousins computer but it was addicting like cocaine.

I did play the game for a few short minutes while in my local EBgames the other day. I wasn't impressed with it the short time I had with it, and this is from someone who has never played Counterstrike on the PC. I am, however, an avid Rainbow Six 3 fan, so I know how these types of games should be played.

While playing the short time, I did observe a couple of things:

- The computer players ran around in the open, no hiding or trying to be stealthy. This goes for your opponent AI and your comrade AI. This could be based on a difficulty I did not set, though.
- The blood looked cheesy as hell. I shot one guy (he was running through a wide open tunnel), and the blood looked awful.
- The menus to choose your weapons were confusing to me, but I'm sure this is chalked up to having no previous experience with the game. Although, I like menus easily accesible the first time you see them.
