Counterstrike error

when i go into counterstrike and join a game sometimes it says svc_bad and then when i join other games it says Svc_bad... the only way i found out to fix it is to restart counterstrike but it does not work all the time
 
I used to get something like that; I do not remember what the cause was, or the solution. 🙁
Uninstall Half Life and Counterstrike, and wipe out the Half Life folder. Then reinstall everything - latest versions - and try again. You will lose customized settings and saved games though.
