Counterstrike Crosshair

Alright, here's the deal. I have CS 1.5 and when I zoom in with any zooming weps, I see no crosshair for them. I tried reinstalling HL and CS but the problem still persists. I have no idea why I don't see any crosshair when zoomed in. It is really imparing my AWP sniping capablity and basically takes away all the zooming guns from my arsenal. Any idea what is wrong?

Not a CS guru by any stretch of the imagination, actually don't even play the game anymore, but I seem to recall from my CS playing lan friends that this was a particular bug in that release. May be completely wrong on that but seem to remember something to that nature.

I suspected as much since CS 1.4 was so buggy I couldn't even play it without many frustrations. Now CS 1.5 and there is still bugs.

I don't remeber any bugs in either version. Have you updated to HL1110?

I don't know why you have that problem. I play the game and run a server every day and never heard of it(so I don't think it is a 1.5 issue). Best place to look for an answer is the cs forum ]here.

However, another solution would be to download and install the fusion pack 7 add on which changes all your player and weaapons skins plus sounds and CROSSHAIRS. I recently went for it and it's a fun change.

I don't know why you are having that problem. I play the game and run a server every day and have not heard of it. Your best bet to get an answer would be to look at the cs forums here

Alternatively, you might download and install the fusionpack7 that changes all the player and weapon skins, sounds and CROSSHAIRS. I just started using it and I enjoy the change. You can get that here

You can also try CS Configurator. This program will allow you to setup binds and also play with your HUD, scope, and many other options available in Counterstrike. Very helpful tool. If you like the Fusion pack, also check out the Death pack and Realism Packs.

also, TNTrulez, maybe you can try changing your crosshairs to something more visible. I play CS at either 1280x960 or 1600x1200, which makes the default, same-color-as-the-background sniper crosshairs very hard to see. once I changed my crosshairs to something bigger and more colorful, I had no problem seeing what I was aiming.

btw: these are the crosshairs I use for CS.
