Counterstrike and Radeon

just wondering, has anyone been able to run counterstrike at 1280x1024 with the radeon? Everytime I try it, there's some kind of problem. All other resolutions work tho...wondering if it's the drivers
 
Does it work at higher than 1280, like 1600? That's so weird...I don't play CS, but mine hasn't given me problems at 1280 in UT...Anyone out there? CS people? =)

If i'm not mistaken Counterstrike has a maximum resolution of 1280x960, which would explain why you can't get 1280x1024 working 😉.
 
err ok fine it doesnt work at 1280x960 i mean...and that is the highest resolution that Counterstrike allows...
When I select it...the map will load..but then the picture will be distorted...well it works but the picture is liked zoomed 100x
 
Can you select that resolution from for the desktop? If not, then you probably need to use a Radeon tweaker program that enables the 1280x960 resolution. You can download a program that does it from here.
