Counterarguments to the Pentagon/Boeing 757 'conspiracy'?

This is regarding the Flash movie now circulating the Web - again.

Other than the obvious argument that the government has no reason to lie either about the disappearance of the hundreds of passengers - who were then supposedly substituted either by a small civilian jet or a missile (uhh) - what can I say or link to in order to shut these 'theorists' up?

you can ask my brother in law who was supposed to be in an office that was destroyed in the crash but was called away elsewhere earlier in the day. try passing the conspiracy theory off on him, he's quite convincing.

You can't shut idiots like that up. When the coffee machine runs out, they could theorize that space frogs landed on Earth 2 minutes ago and caused the coffee machine to mysteriously empty itself. You would never be able to convince them otherwise, even if you had 4 people who were standing next to it during that time.

Why bother? Anyone that buys into conspiracy theories will just think you are part of the big coverup no matter what you say.

Are you saying your brother-in-law believes he was intentionally called away because someone knew what was going to happen that morning? Or not?

Pretty sure he's saying that his brother would yell and possibly maim the guy who proposed that theory because he almost died that day.

that's what i'm saying. not that he was called away on purpose.

The funny thing about that video???

In the security camera footage of the plane hitting the Pentagon, they claim that the image does not look like a plane. Yet you can SEE the blue and red "AA" design on the tail of the plane in that shot.

Idiots.
